Implementation and Use of ANSI AMR Communication Protocol Standards for the Transfer of C12.19 Data Tables

Standards-compliant metering devices enable data exchange among various electronic metering devices and master stations. This course details the PSEM language and packet data protocols used to communicate with ANSI C12.19 meters.

Covered topics shall include:

• Overview of the C12 AMR communication architecture PSEM, "Protocol specifications for electricity meters".
• ANSI Standard C12.18, "Protocol Specifications for ANSI Type 2 Optical Port".
• ANSI Standard C12.21, "Protocol Specifications for Telephone MODEM".
